Welcome

The Yorkshire Carnival Association was established in 1983 by Doreen & Derek Haigh until 2002 when they retired after 19 years of hard work and total dedication to Majorettes, Marching Bands, Jazz Bands, Entertaining Troupes and Morris Dancers throughout the UK. Upon their retirement, the Association was then continued very successfully by Sharon Ellis until 2010. The YCA Committe are now continuing the association and would like to thank its troupe members for their continued support and look forward to seeing you all throughout our 28th year - 2011.

The association hosts dance twirl, freestyle, themed and Pom sections at 9 competitions throughout the year. If you would like further information, please contact Kathryn Hirst - Details on the contacts page.
