Welcome

The Yorkshire Carnival Association was established in 1983 by Doreen & Derek Haigh until 2002 when they retired after 19 years of hard work and total dedication to Majorettes, Marching Bands, Jazz Bands, Entertaining Troupes and Morris Dancers throughout the UK. Upon their retirement, the Association was continued on by Sharon Ellis, Principal and the Executive Committee.

The committee would like to thank its troupe members for their continued support and look forward to seeing you all throughout our 27th year - 2010.

The association hosts dance twirl, freestyle, themed and Pom sections at 16 competitions throughout the year.  If you would like further information, please contact Sharon Ellis - Details on the contacts page.

Also available for members is the Twirl Academy - professional baton twirl training and grading system carried out through seminars and examinations and solo/duo competitions.

Something for every kind of majorette - A long established association - troupe membership is free..
